Alessandro and Findomestic Banca are at Kerguelen Islands

There have been contacts with the ‘Marion Dufresne’ boat of the TAAF (Terres Australes Antarctiques Françaises)
Hervé Le Goff, a scientist, a friend of Sébastien Roubinet’s , is on a mission on board, he gave precious indications to Alessandro .
Here they are: ‘ There are rocks near the South West borders of the Kerguelen ( Solitary Islands, Boynes Islands, R. Salamanca ... well marked on the maps. As for the ice we saw the first isolated iceberg on the first of January at  56°06’S / 67°01’E. We didn’t see anything north of 56 S.
As they arrived at the level of Kerguelen Island early in the morning of January the 18th   there was more wind but a good visibility.
Findomestic Banca and the sailor had the opportunity to rest before facing the Fiftieh howler
Alessandro let the large sail down and drifted for 3 hours. But before going to sleep in his warm down-filled sleeping bag he immortalized this moment with cameras.
